7delaan fansite had the pleasure of asking 7de laan extra Shane Nagel a few questions.

Tell us a little about yourself?

I was born in Ermelo,on a very cold winters morning 5 July 1990..i'm 19.

How did you get into acting?

Well I love acting!! And that is exactly what I’m going to do! I'm on 7de laan on  the 17th and 26 of February. In oppiekoffie at the back where all the cakes (not real ones) are. You will see clear shots of me.

How long have you been a extra on 7de laan?

I have been a semi-actor for 2years now. Going for my 3rd year in 7de laan!

What is your favourite thing when it comes to working on 7de laan?

My favourite thing about working on the laan is to see how they put it al together and when the actors make mistakes. That happens when you have lots of words to say..

And the worst?

Well there was no bad days!! Because all the days are good..

What has been your most memorable experience working on set?

My best day on the set was the day I danced with Janine at a party! That was just awesome!

What are your favourite scenes to shoot?

That will be in the club!! The club scenes are great, I also like oppiekoffie scenes alot, in the winter it is a bit cold, because they always leave the air-conditioning  on.  Also we are not able to wear any jackets on the set as some of you will notice.

Please describe a typical day on set?

Our arrival time on the set is 8 o'clock in the morning. On arrival we get a nice cup of hot chocolate and Cookies.  Then we start at 10 o'clock.  After a few scenes we get a break were we have lunch in the same room of the actors.  Thereafter we start the next scenes.  Until wrap( about 5 o'clock in the afternoon). 

Who is your favourite actor/actress on set?

My favourite female actress is: Diaan Lawrenson (Paula),she never forgets her lines! She is just good. My favourite male actors are Pierre van Pletzen (Oubaas)and Christo Davids (Errol) they are both very good!

And your favourite character?

My favourite characters on tv are Isabelle and then Paula they act very natural.

What are your future plans?

I hope to become one of SA's best actors on television, but i leave it all in Gods hand.

Anything else you would like to share?

To all of the people who want to know, the food we eat is not real, and the cool drink is also not real, you can drink it but it taste awful. The bread in the Deli is very old.
